"Physical fitness can neither be acquired by wishful thinking or by outright purchase" - Joseph Pilates
So what is the answer, how often should you do Pilates? Its really dependant on you. We often see people come to class only once a week. Yes you can get some benefit from this, you will reduce back pain or stress, but you won't get that whole new body. As an industry we recommend that you do Pilates 2-3 times per week for best results.
In his book, Return to Life through Contrology Joseph Pilates also says , "If you will faithfully perform your contrology exercises regularly only 4 times week, you will find your body development approaching the ideal, accompanied by renewed mental vigour and spiritual enhancement."
One of the great things about pilates is that it is a whole body movement exercise. As such you will become lean, flexible and strong. In his book he describes your new body as "supple as that of a cat and not muscular like that of the body of a brewery truck horse, or the muscle-bound body of the professional weight lifter you so much admire in the circus."

Simply put, Pilates twice a week will give you more noticeable results, improve your alignment, and help you develop your own body awareness.
Pilates is an investment in you. Its an investment of time, effort and yes money. But in the end aren't you worth it? Ask me how I can help you get the results you want.
"In 10 sessions you will feel the difference, in 20 sessions you will see the difference, and in 3o you will have a whole new body
